Rake, Dig, Pluck, Churn, Chew, Sip, Stomp and Shuck your way through…
Cape Cod Culinary and Agricultural Adventures!
If you think FOOD is just "something to eat" please click to another page now!
OK, now that we’ve gotten rid of those people, answer these questions below to see if you should keep reading as well…
- Are you adventurous? An explorer by nature?
- Have you ever driven an hour or two just to try a new restaurant?
- Have you found yourself lost for hours in a foreign market while on a trip overseas?
- Do you ever plan your vacations or holidays around food or wine festivals?
- Have you ever been completely knocked out by a meal in a tiny, roadside "hole-in- the-wall"?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, read on! Your trip to Cape Cod is about to get a whole lot more interesting.
Just tell us what interests you, or ask us for ideas...

Greeeen Acres is the place to be!
Take a day for yourself, or the whole family...Learn how to harvest fresh fruits and berries,
how to turn goat's milk into goat cheese, learn about growing herbs to brighten your meals,
or for medicinal purposes. Like the harvest itself, the list of experiences keeps g-r-o-w-i-n-g!
Want to mix up some local culture? Take our driving tour with you and stop in local artisan
shops, too. |

Explore by the Shore. Spend some time with real Cape Cod fisherman and walk away with some
of their favorite seafood recipes, as well as some ingredients, and maybe your own fish (Did you
know there are chefs on the Cape that will prepare your freshly caught fish for you in their
kitchen?)! Learn about various local fish, see how fish are caught and handled or learn how to
rake for clams. Our favorite "good time" is working along side one of our oyster farming friends
(the setting alone is to die for). Whatever your interests, the list of possibilities is as deep as, well... |

It's not easy being green? Sure it is! There are many road-side eateries and fine-dining restaurants
on Cape Cod which are run by some of the country's most talented "green" chefs! These chefs take
great pride in creating magic with local (ie; FRESH) products. Why dine at a big chain restaurant when
you can have an incredible meal that's locally grown, raised, caught or harvested? Your Innkeepers
at the Lamb and Lion can book you a table at these incredible places, or tell you which restaurants
will turn your own catch into a meal! |
The Lamb and Lion Inn, along with dozens of local fisherman, farmers, growers and brewers are turning food & drink into an attraction to visitors.
We want to fill your pallets (and your souls!) with unique and memorable eating and drinking experiences, and not just through those who have
earned "4 stars" or favorable reviews.
Want a head start to your adventure? Go to Innkeeper Tom's blog! The Thumbscrew Circus is a fun blog with some "off-beat" ideas on where to go, what to see and what to EAT while you're on Cape Cod--as well as some other rants from an innkeeper who's inhaled too much pool water. A must for an "foodie"! (the blog, not the pool water).
